International Carputer Systems was established in 2006 as a result of customer enquires regarding the availability of car computer products. The founder of the business had over 20 years experience in the IT industry at the time and was a highly sought after IT consultant.

With his passion for cars and the little spare time he had available, he set out to research and develop a system that was not a cheaply modified pc thrown into a car, but a system that was designed and developed from the bottom up utilising the best available technology, that provided speed and reliability to the very high standards he set.

From this, he started to build his system and and develop customised software for it. This was to ensure that customers could have systems tailored to their requirements. In doing so, he has experimented with a balance of different operating systems and development software to increase speed in those systems that didn't require mainstream application software with great success.
